Why Cycle to Work and Where?
Huge’s location in Brooklyn influences many of the employees’ decisions to be bike commuters, since it has less traffic than in Manhattan and is therefore safer for biking. About two-thirds of Huge’s employees in the Brooklyn office also live in Brooklyn, so it’s also convenient for most of them. The majority of Huge’s cyclists admit that they do it because it’s quicker and cheaper than public transportation, but many people also enjoy the exercise and just find it to be a more pleasant and environmentally-friendly experience than public transportation.
