Who, what, where?
We are Evans Cycles, a specialist bike retailer, with over 40 stores around the UK. Our head office is located near Gatwick Airport, where roughly 200 people work in two big warehouses, plus our contact centre, marketing, HR and other functions. At least half of them ride to work regularly as cycling plays a central role in most people’s life around here. That means that there are leg-shaving roadies, serious downhillers and BMX riders who can perform jaw-dropping tricks on any day of the week. Most people have more than one bike and most of us take part in a variety of different cycling disciplines.
