Euclid Elements, Palo Alto

7 Cyclists, 45 Bicycles

Who, what, where?

Euclid is a startup doing "Google Analytics for the physical world." I was one of the founders of the company that became Google Analytics, and after 5 years at Google, left to help with Euclid (which had already been founded a few months previous). Four of us ride our bikes from San Francisco to Palo Alto (~35 miles) a few days a week, and 3-4 others ride bikes around town for errands etc. but don't commute by bike. We ride appropriate bikes for the weather, but usually fast-ish road bikes to get to work, then utility/basket bikes for errands/shopping. Our full-distance commutes are in conjunction with a large bike commuting club called SF2G.com, which some friends and I started in 2005. It has about 1500 members. Incidentally: I was the SF Bay Area 2011 bike commuter of the year.
